What a great local hero story we all share in Matt Carkner. A local defenceman hailing from Winchester, Ontario. Matt plays from the heart but at 6'4" and 230 lbs, and a 'no fear' style of play, he makes his opponents sit up and take notice. He's known as Big Country and nobody messes with one of his team mates without answering to Matt! He also knows that the team at Kia 417 is one he can trust and depend on when he needs them.
